Dear Parents:
For our youngest students, and our most impressionable, we have targeted some very specific, and important learning activities, both verbal and written. Sessions include letter recognition, consonants and vowels, sight words, reading strategies, parts of speech, and sentence structure.
Lessons will include videos, slideshows, and written materials, such as study guides. Some items may require downoading and printing. Please remember — we need your help in implementing these sessions. Make sure your child has plenty of writing tools and lined paper. Also — Refer to our Events Calendar for additional sessions and helpful hints. We have free group lessons and live sessions (5.00 per session).
 In addition to our core curriculum, we encourage parents to engage in daily reading activities at home. Reading together not only enhances comprehension but also fosters a love for books. Consider setting aside a special time each day for reading, allowing your child to explore different genres and topics. This will greatly enrich their learning experience and make them excited about literacy.
